  1. What LOGistic does:

  3. It takes your LOG files (like Tabby Log) and cuts out all
  4. unneeded crap. It's nice that most utilites like to tell
  5. you they started up perfectly at such and so hour and day,
  6. but it's not really interesting to a sysop whose BBS has been
  7. running stable for quite some time.

  9. It has two ways to cut down your files in size:
  10.  
  11. -cut out all lines conctaining a known string
  12. (such as 'ThisUtil starting at')
  13. -cut out all lines NOT conctaining a known string
  14. (f.e. keeping all lines containing 'error')
  15.  
  16. You decided which files to process in which way.
  17.  
  18. This could save you up to 90 % of disk space devoted
  19. to log files.
